12 October 2007. The first comprehensive trans-disciplinary dialogue on the present and future of humans in outer space was held on 11 and 12 October 2007 at Vienna during a conference co-organized by ESF, ESA and ESPI leading to a “Vienna Vision on Humans in Outer Space”.
9 October 2007. During the 9th European Interparliamentary Space Conference (EISC) in Rome, ESPI presented recent results of its work supporting European decision-makers in shaping their view on space applications.
4 October 2007. The third ESPI Flash Report takes the space anniversaries (50 years of spaceflight and 40 years of the Outer Space Treaty) as a starting point for developing a vision for regulating space activities in the future: Space Traffic Management
28 September 2007. At this year’s International Astronautical Congress (IAC), the main event of the global space community, ESPI not only presented current research but also came in a position to shape the Congress’s activities in the coming years.
27 September 2007. In its recently published annual report for foreign policy, the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs (BMEIA) acknowledges the role of ESPI within the recent Austrian EU-Presidency.
17 September 2007. The First ESPI Autumn Conference took place on 13 and 14 September 2007 in ESPI’s premises in Vienna. This event gathered experts on space policy research for the preparation of the forthcoming Space Policy Yearbook and launched also the European Space Policy Research and Academic Network (ESPRAN).
