28 January 2010. During the past two weeks, ESPI briefed decision-makers in four of its member institutions on recent research results relevant to current policy debates. |
ESPI Resident Fellow Matxalen Sánchez Aranzamendi spoke on 13 January 2010 at an interministerial meeting organised by the Austrian Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology about the impacts of the Lisbon Treaty for space activities. Together with ESPI’s Director Kai-Uwe Schrogl, she also presented topics related to regulations on 18 January at DLR in Bonn and at Eumetsat and ESOC in Darmstadt as well as on 27 January at SES in Luxembourg.
All meetings were attended by decision-makers of the respective organisations thus taking advantage from being briefed on background research and recommendations developed by ESPI relating to space policy issues of current relevance.
