Europe as a Space Power - Directionality & Priorities of Strategic Action
Pre-Register HereThe Autumn Conference is one of the annual highlights of ESPI’s calendar, offering a platform for European and international stakeholders to convene and hold informed and in-depth space-related discussions that reach beyond headlines.
This year, the 19th edition of the Autumn Conference will be held on 28-29 October 2025 in an in-person format, and will convene under the theme: “Europe as a Space Power – Directionality & Priorities of Strategic Action”.
A transversal enabler across policy domains and economic sectors, space is also an arena of power politics and, increasingly so tool of international power projection. With a war on Europe’s doorstep, profound geopolitical shifts and the widening competitiveness gap with other global actors, the place of Europe in space as a strong actor and trusted global partner is becoming under growing strains. In spite of its landmark achievements and solid foundations, Europe today lacks the political will at the true scale of its economic power and talent to assert itself as a full space power.
The 19th edition of the ESPI Autumn Conference will address the pathways for Europe to become a full-fledged space power and reinforce its role as a partner to the world, bringing together high-level European and international stakeholders.
