13 June 2008. Having produced already two studies for the Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), a visit of the JAXA Associate ExecutiveDirector for International Relations highlighted the appreciation of this cooperation.
In the course of the past year, ESPI has been conducting two studies for the Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA). Both studies were lead by ESPI’s Research Fellow Nicolas Peter.

During a visit to ESPI, the Associate Executive Director for International Relations in JAXA, Makoto Kajii, welcomed the cooperation with ESPI and appreciated the work done by the institute. He also expressed the wish to continue with such cooperation pointing to the high potential for joint activities between JAXA and ESPI as the central European think tank in the field of space policy.
