19 December 2011. The 14th issue of the Newsletter for the European Space Policy Research and Academic Network (ESPRAN), operated by ESPI, is online.
In this issue readers will be able to find information on the latest highlights of ESPI and ESPRAN members’ activities. Among others, the newsletter reports on the 5th ESPI Autumn Conference which gathered the ESPRAN members who will contribute to the upcoming 2010/2011 “Yearbook on Space Policy” to discuss on their contributions and the latest trends in space. This issue also announces the publication of two reports as contributions to the Polish EU Council Presidency, one dealing with space applications for civil protection with a particular interest to SatCom and another one providing an insight into the socio-economic benefits of GMES. The Newsletter counts this time with the profile of PSSI (Prague Security Studies Institute) where the successful cooperation with ESPI in organising a major international conference on space security through transatlantic partnership is highlighted
