25 June 2009. Bridging earth to air and space, ESPI today opened an exhibition with paintings by the Austrian artist R.T. Spari, who provides impressions of all three mediums in colourful formats.
R.T. Spari is a well-known artist from the Austrian State of Styria (biography in German here), decorated with honours and renowned through more than 100 exhibitions. For the presentation at ESPI, he selected and originally created works, which span from rural perspectives to his touching colourful views of planets and the universe. The particularity of his painting is the use also of Schilcherwine, a product of his native State. Aesthetics and rural links were highlighted at the opening by the Director of the Vienna Planetarium, Peter Habison and the Director of the Agriculture Association of Styria, Franz Tonner.
