copy of aaaf_logo.jpg 4 December 2009. The Committee on Strategy and International Affairs of the French Association for Aeronautics and Astronautics (AAAF) today received a briefing of ESPI’s activities investigating future cooperation between the two institutions.

Based on a close relationship with ESPI’s Director and his recent contribution ESPI’s “Yearbook on Space Policy”, the Chairman of the Committee on Strategy and International Affairs of the French Association for Aeronautics and Astronautics (Association Aéronautique et Astronautique de France, AAAF), Bertrand de Montluc, had invited ESPI to present its activities and to discuss future cooperation. Kai-Uwe Schrogl and Nina-Louisa Remuß introduced ESPI’s general activities and focussed on the field of space and security, where the AAAF Committee had also recently published a position paper. This was the well-received introduction to a vivid exchange of views with the development of ideas on future participation of AAAF in ESPRAN activities.
