4 May 2009. ESPI Research Fellows Charlotte Mathieu and Nicolas Peter are leaving ESPI following three highly productive years to take up positions in ESA Headquarters.
At the latest ESPI General Assembly, its Chairman Harald Posch Head of the Austrian Agency for Aeronautics and Space ALR/FFG and ESPI’s Director Kai-Uwe Schrogl appreciated the work accomplished during the past years by ESA seconded Research Fellows Charlotte Mathieu and Nicolas Peter. Both benefited from the “ESPI experience” and are now taking up new positions in ESA Headquarters starting in May after having prepared numerous well-received studies and having shaped ESPI’s work through i.a. co-authoring and editing the Yearbook on Space Policy, setting up the academic and research network of experts ESPRAN, preparing positions papers with other partner institutions and advising space agencies as well as presentations in conferences and publications in peer-reviewed journals. Charlotte Mathieu and Nicolas Peter have successfully promoted during their tenure ESPI and contributed to the rising visibility of the institute.
