31 July 2015. Call for Participants: Eurisy Survey for public authorities using services based on satellite navigation, satellite communication and satellite imagery.

The European association Eurisy is promoting a survey for public authorities using services based on satellite navigation, satellite communication and satellite imagery. ESPI is one of the partners of Eurisy in this endeavour.

The EURISY survey targets public authorities working directly in the field, in the areas of public transport, urban planning, building, environmental protection, and air quality, among many others.

Eligible services for the survey are, for example, the use of satellite navigation to improve public transport, of satellite imagery to monitor soil subsidence or air quality, or of satellite communication to connect fire brigades in remote areas.

Respondents will need approximately 10 minutes to fill in the questionnaire. No technical questions are included, but information on the implementation process, the costs of the satellite-based services and their benefits.

If you use satellite applications to improve your services to the community, please take 10 minutes to participate to this survey by clicking on this link: www.eurisy.org/event-survey/survey-en
