21 April 2017. Recognizing the efforts, achievements and commitment towards the students, the University of Cape Town has awarded Dr Annette Froehlich the title "Honorary Adjunct Senior Lecturer". Since the creation of the Master of Space Studies at the University of Cape Town, Dr Froehlich has been visiting lecturer in the SpaceLab MPhil in the Space Studies Programme.

 As regular visitor to SpaceLab, she has played a key role in all aspects of the “Space and Society module”. Apart from presenting her popular lectures in the Space and Society module, she has also guided students in their team project work for that module since 2014 and she has participated in several public outreach space awareness events in Cape Town. The University of Cape Town is delighted to welcome Dr Froehlich to the UCT SpaceLab team in her new capacity as an adjunct faculty member. - See more at: Spacelab.
