8 October 2010. The University of Zielona Góra, Poland, established a course on space marketing, inaugurating it with a keynote lecture given by ESPI.
Following an initiative of Polish space authorities, the Faculty of Economics and Management of the University of Zielona Góra set up a course in space marketing as a track leading to a master degree. For the inauguration of this course and the academic year, ESPI’s Director Kai-Uwe Schrogl was invited to give a lecture on Space Marketing in the European Space Policy Context (presentation, co-authored by ESPI Associate Fellow Christophe Venet, download here). The invitation was based on the close relations of the Institute with Polish institutions, most recently additionally strengthened through ESPI’s new role as Integrated Applications Promotion (IAP) Ambassador Platform for the Central and Eastern European region (link here). Cooperation with Polish institutions is intended to increase further in view of the Polish EU Council Presidency in the second half of 2011 the soon to be expected membership of Poland in ESA.
