30 November 2017. On 27 November 2017, ESPI Resident Fellow Cenan Al-Ekabi gave an evening lecture at the American Center in Prague, Czech Republic. The event was part of a series of three public guest lectures organized by the Institute of Political Studies at the Charles University, the Prague Security Studies Institute (PSSI) and the American Center for the Master’s Degree course on “Space Security in the 21st Century”. He gave a broad overview of Europe’s activities in space with a focus on the security dimensions, from its initial drivers to the current main efforts, and highlighted the European space sector’s investment in space compared with other major space actors and recent developments in global space community.
