Cover__ITRE_workshop_on_space_technologies_-_proceedings  8 August 2011. The proceedings of the top-level workshop in the European Parliament, which took place in July and which was supported by ESPI, are available now.
On 13 July 2011, the Workshop “Space technologies in support of European policies – transport, environment and agriculture” took place in the European Parliament. It was organised by the Policy Department A – Economic and Scientific Policy of the EP with the support of ESPI. Keynotes were given by Industry Research and Energy (ITRE) Chairman MEP Herbert Reul, EC Vice President Antonio Tajani and ESA Director General Jean-Jacques Dordain. ESPI introduced the workshop sessions and the conference theme. This presentation was given by the Institute’s Director Kai-Uwe Schrogl and Resident Fellow Christina Giannopapa. The EP Policy Department has now published the workshop proceedings, which contain all addresses and presentations (proceedings download here, web stream of the workshop link here). They are intended as a source for the current discussions on the Multiannual Financial Framework 2014-2020.
