24 February 2017.  Dr. Annette Froehlich gave a talk on “international space law and current challenges” on Friday 24 February 2017 at the Space Engineering Academy at Somerset West (SA).

 The presentation which highlighted the importance of space law and its current challenges like asteroid mining and space debris mitigation was spread to all interested space groups in Africa, including representatives of the African Union and was followed by an interesting discussion. This conference was the opening of a series of conferences.
