7 March 2008. Experts from seven European countries met at ESPI in the context of the study “Isolation of space research from space industry. How to improve the relationship between the broader basic science and space industry.”
7 March 2008. After having taken office a few weeks ago, the Director of the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA), Mazlan Othman, visited ESPI to discuss cooperation between the two Vienna-based institutions.
6 March 2008. Today, ESPI presented in Brussels its study on “Europe’s way to Space Situational Awareness” and the joint memorandum drafted together with George Washington University on trans-Atlantic cooperation. In addition, talks were conducted at the European Parliament.
29 February 2008. ESPI today released the study “Europe’s Way to Space Situational Awareness (SSA)“. It highlights key aspects of a future European SSA system, such as data policy, institutional questions and a business model.
26 February 2008. High-ranking representatives of the Czech 2008 presidency of the European Interparliamentary Space Conference (EISC) and first half of 2009 EU-Presidency visited ESPI today to detail the institute’s support in space matters.
