Winter School: Outer Space Cooperation in the Middle East

From 6-8 December 2024, the Institute for International Cooperation, Technological Diplomacy, and Communication will convene its Winter School in cooperation with the Young Society for Security Policy (Junge Gesellschaft für Sicherheitspolitik) and ESPI under the theme: “Outer Space Cooperation in the Middle East“. This session will examine the Middle Eastern states’ space policies and strategic approaches and the legal, military, economic, and technological challenges to identify the potential for cooperation among them.

ESPI experts, Gabriele Redigonda, Research Fellow; Lars Petzold, Research Fellow; and Aoife van Linden Tol, Global Fellow will participate for the duration of the event, and Research Manager Matija Renčelj will participate the morning of 7 December.
