Read moreOn December 3rd (13:15 – 14:00), ESPI is co-organising the Lunch Break Event “World Café: Future of Space Exploration – Foresight Concept” in cooperation with the German academic network SichTRaum, the Bundesverband der Deutschen Luft- und Raumfahrtindustrie (BDLI), European Space Policy Institute (ESPI), Institut für qualifizierende Innovationsforschung und -beratung GmbH (IQIB), and the ERC staring grant project “Future Space” at University of Vienna.
During the event, participants will explore and discuss scenarios for the future of space exploration under the guidance of the organizer team, based on the ESPI-CIFS Report “Future of Space Exploration: Strategic Scenarios for European Space Exploration 2040-2060”.
Lars Petzold, ESPI Research Fellow, and Lina Pohl, ESPI Research Fellow and Relations Officer for Germany and Austria seconded by DLR, are part of the organising team and will guide the participants through the discussions on the future scenarios.
