Are you a student or a young professional with less than five years of work experience, eager to shape Europe’s approach to professional development and upskilling in the space sector? The European space sector – an arena of rapid innovation and significant economic potential – is currently navigating a complex landscape in its quest to attract and retain new talent. Despite its growth, the sector is still struggling to attract, hire and retain the qualified professionals it needs.
ESPI is excited to share its latest survey to achieve a greater understanding of young professionals and students’ needs to enter the European space sector. This survey is an integral part of a larger study aimed at informing European policy makers about the supply and demand dynamics within the space sector.
Please fill out our short questionnaire European Space Sector Talent Study – Student & Young Professional Perspectives and share it with your network as you wish. The survey will remain open until December, 8th 2024.
The study aims to analyse current recruitment practises, assess the industry’s attractiveness, explore young professionals and students’ motivations and constraints, and ultimately provide recommendations for key policy makers and industry players.
To further advocate the development of future space and education policies across Europe, your voice matters and we truly appreciate every response! A high response rate will enable our results and recommendations to most accurately depict current needs, challenges and opinions of the sector as a whole.
Stay tuned for upcoming ESPI updates on the future of Europe’s space sector talent pool.
