Seeking input from space education students and young professionals

The future of the European space sector, including its performance, entrepreneurial mindset and capacity to innovate, strongly relies on an education system able to train a skilled workforce. That is why the European Space Policy Institute (ESPI) is working on providing the space community with an up-to-date overview of the European space education landscape and with an analysis of trends and challenges in this domain.

As part of this project, ESPI is running a survey addressing students and young professionals to better understand what they feel to be the challenges and opportunities related to the European space-related education landscape as well as the bridge between education and the working sector. The survey will run from 12 October 2021 to 31 October 2021, and takes 5 minutes to complete

Eligible respondents include:

  • Students currently enrolled in a space-related programme
  • Students in the process of enrollment (have already been accepted)
  • Graduates who recently completed their programme
  • Young professionals

The results of the survey will be compiled and communicated as part of a broader public research report on this topic. The report will be published on ESPI website by the end of the year.
