The ESPI Yearbook is an annual publication which provides an overview of major developments and trends in space policy, industry, programmes, economy and overall worldwide activity over the year. The 2021 edition is the third of a new Yearbook series with revised structure and content, organized in four complementary chapters: 

  • Policy & Programmes: space policy highlights and trends, major space programme developments 
  • Industry & Innovation: launcher and satellite industry developments, selected company info sheets 
  • Economy & Business: global and European space economy indicators (turnover, budgets, investment) 
  • Launches & Satellites: space activity statistics, mission highlights and ESPI launch log 

Some of the key developments presented in the 2021 edition of the ESPI Yearbook are:

  • Another record-setting year for global private space investments
